     Ginger Beef

Ingredients
Steak
Corn Starch
3/4 cup Carrot (grated)
2 Tbsp Onion (chopped)
1 1/2 cup Water
2 Tbsp Vinegar
3 Tbsp Soya Sauce
1 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Ginger
 
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Crushed red pepper to taste

Instructions
Cut steak while partially frozen into narrow strips, coat with corn starch and let sit for 1/2 hour until meat absorbs the corn starch. Deep fry for 3-4 minutes until brown. Drain on paper towels.
Bring sauce ingredients to a boil, simmer for about 30 minutes until it thickens. Stir fry grated carrots and onion in oil. Add meat and sauce. Serve over steamed rice or noodles.
