     Genny's Apple Nut Cake

Ingredients
2 c sugar
3 c flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 c vegetable oil
1 t baking powder
1 t black walnut flavoring
1 c walnuts
 
3 c sliced apples
TOPPING-
1 c brown sugar
1 stick oleo
1/4 c condensed milk

Instructions
For cake, mix first 8 ingredients together well. Then add apples and nuts. Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees or until knife inserted in teh middle comes out clean. Use a 12x8 pan. For topping, boil ingredients for 3 minutes. Pour over cake while hot and serve warm.
This cake is best when served warm. Big chunks of apples and walnuts in it with warm topping poured over it make this a dessert you can't refuse.
