Grind 1/2 c. coconut in food processor. Chop remaining and set aside. Add flour, 1/4 c. confectioner's sugar and salt. Pulse to blend. Add butter and vanilla, pulse. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. In a small bowl, mix remaining confectioner's sugar and enough milk until combination is smooth but thick. Dip cookies in the glaze, then in chopped coconut. Let dry.
