     Thumbprint cookies

Ingredients
1 cup butter room temp
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs room temp
1 tsp vanilla
pinch of salt
2 cups flour
3/4 cup jam
 
Instructions
preheat over to 350. cream butter and sugar. separate eggs. add yolk and vanilla to butter mixture. add flour and salt until well combined
form 1 in balls onto cookie sheet. press tsp (cover in flour) into ball to form cavity. fill with 1/2 tsp jam.
bake 12 - 15 minutes or until slightly firm. let set 5 min on cookie sheet than transfer
