In a 1 quart casserole, place bacon slices between layers of paper toweling. Microwave cook until crisp, about 2 minutes. Remove bacon and toweling. Crumble bacon and set aside.
Place cream cheese in same casserole and microwave until softened, about 1 minute. Blend in onion, grated parmesan, chili sauce, milk, basil, garlic salt and pepper.
Drain clams and stir into mixture. Microwave cook uncovered, until heated through, about 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Stir in bacon and serve with dippers.
