     Granny Stephens Chess Pie

Ingredients
Melt 1/2 Cup (1 Stick) Of Butter
1 Tablespoon White Vinegar
3 Whole Eggs
1 1/2 Cups Of Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
 

Instructions
Melt the stick of butter. Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and let stand while beating 3 whole eggs. (DO NOT use an electric mixer!) Then, add the 1 1/2 cups of sugar and the vinegar and butter to the eggs. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir thoroughly and pour into an unbaked pie crust. Bake 40-50 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
