     Tita's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
Sift all the above together.
Bring to a boil-
1 cup water
1 stick oleo
4 tablespoons cocoa
Add above to sifted mixture &
 
2 beaten eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk or (milk with 1 tsp vinegar)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
Pour into greased jelly roll pan and bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Frosting- Beat together 1 stick melted oleo, 1 box powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons cocoa & enough milk for spreading consistency (start with 2-3 tablespoons milk). Frost when cool.
