     CHOCOLATE BISCOTTI

Ingredients
1/2 LB. BUTTER OR MARGARINE MELTED
2 & 1/2 C. SUGAR
1/2 C. RUM
6 EGGS
3 C. NUTS
2 T. ORANGE PEEL FINELY GRATED
5 C. FLOUR
1 & 1/2 C COCOA
1 T. BAKING POWDER
 

Instructions
PUT SUGAR IN LARGE BOWL. BEAT IN MELTED MARGARINE,RUM AND EGGS.
IN FOOD PROCESSOR CHOP NUTS ADD ORANE PEEL, FLOUR COCOA AND BAKING POWDER. PROCESS TILL WELL MIXED. ADD NUTS MIXTURE TO WET INGREDIENTS AND MIX WELL.
FROM LOAVES ABOUT 1/2 INCH HIGH AND 3 INCHES WIDE ON LIGHTLY GREASED BAKING SHEET. BAKE 350 FOR ABOUT 25 MIN OR TILL FULLER BAKED TEST WITH TOOTHPICK.
LET COOL ABOUT 5 MIN. CUT INTO 1/2 INCH WIDTHS PUT ON SHEET WITH CUT SIDE DOWN BAKE 350 10 MIN ON EACH SIDE.
