Combine flour and salt in bowl or food processor and quickly blend together. Add butter and shortening and cut it into the flour with two forks or pulse in processor untilt he mixture has the texture of oatmeal with small bits of butter. Drizzle the water evenly over the mixture and combine or pulse untilt he dough barely comes together to form a ball. Do not overwork the dough. empty the dough onto a large sheet of plastic wrap; use teh wrap to shape the dough into a solid, flat disk. Seal the dough adn chill for at least 30 minutes. The dough may be stored for 2 days in teh fridge or 1 month in the freezer.
