     Sandy's Chopped Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients
two 8 oz pkgs frozen chopped broccoli
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 c mayo
1 c chopped cheez-its
1 pkg sliced almonds
salt and pepper
 

Instructions
Cook broccoli according to package directions. Drain off water. Add soup, cheese, mayo, salt and pepper. Put into 9x13 sprayed with Pam. Place crackers on top. Place almonds on top of crackers. Bake 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees, uncovered.
Note- my mother in law, Sandy, makes this but substitutes cream of chicken soup since several memebers of the family won't eat anything with mushrooms (silly people, mushrooms are good!). She also omits the almonds and adds just a touch more crackers.
