Before you begin, you'll need to turn your oven on to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4 and grease a baking tray or two.

So, that done, the first thing to do is mix all ingredients aprart from the chocolate chips and the egg together in a bowl. I use a whisk or a fork but I'm sure a machine will work as well.
Once that is well mixed add the remaing ingrediants and mix (fork or machine) untill it all comes together and looks gloopy.

Finally, spoon golf ball size blobs onto your backing tray (don't flatten them) making sure they are well spread out as the cookies will splurge. Then all that remains to be done is stick them in the oven for 15-20 mins, untill they are golden brown.

When they're done, they need to cool on the tray for a couple of minutes before turning them out onto a cooling rack.
Then all that remains, is to eat them...
