     Cranberry Conserve

Ingredients
20oz Frozen Sliced Strawberries in Syrup (thawed and drained but save the syrup)
1/2 cup Sugar
1/4 cup Water
12oz (1 Bag) of Fresh Cranberries
2oz Crystallized Ginger (cut in slivers)
1 Medium Orange Peel (cut into julienne strips)
2 Whole Cinnamon Sticks
 

Instructions
You will need- -3 quart sauce pan -wooden or plastic cooking spoon -jars and lids
1) Drain strawberries into a 3 quart sauce pan. 2) Stir in water and sugar, bring to a boil, stir till sugar dissolves. ENJOY!!
3) Add cranberries, orange peel, ginger and cinnamon sticks. 4) Return to a boil then lower heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
5) Once done remove from heat, cool, then place in jars for storage. 6) Refrigerate for up to 1 month.
Serving Suggestions
A Great alternative to plain jelly like cranberry sauce!
