Notes from my Aunt Kathy-
Recipe from Tom's mom. She was born in Germany and brought
alot of family recipes with her. My favorite is her Spritz cookies.
You run the dough thru a hand operated cookie press. The press
we have is hers. It's like the old metal meat grinders you attach to
the counter. It has cookie shapes you attach to the front. The
dough is so thick the electric ones don't work well.
Ingredients-
4 cups flour,2 cups sugar,4 sticks soft butter, 2 cups of fine
powder like almonds, 2 tsp vanilla.
Bake at 350 the will be blonde in color. i think they bake 10
minutes can't remember. I just keep checking and gauge the rest
of the other batches.
