     Meatloaf

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   Family
Preptime   1 1/2-2 Hours

Ingredients
1 to 1.5 Pounds Ground Beef
1 Egg, Lightly Beaten
1 1/2 Cups Bread Crumbs (Italian-Style are Very Good)
2 Tablespoons Parsley, Dried or Fresh
2 Tablespoons Dried Celery Leaves
2 Tablespoons Finely Minced Onion (Can Use Dried Minced Onion)
Some Minced Garlic, Fresh or Dried (To Taste)
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper (I Just Grind Some on Top)
Salt to Taste

Dash of Thyme or Savory (I Like Savory Better)
1 Cup Beef Broth Made From Beef Base or Bouillon
1 Tablespoon Butter

Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, mix together ground beef and all the ingredients except for the beef base/bouillon and butter.
Put the meatloaf mix into a meatloaf pan (or two if you made a bigger batch) and use a spoon or your fingers to make a little space between the top of the burger mound/mold and the walls of the pan. The space doesn’t need to go all the way down, just a little room near the top of the burger and the pan walls.
Put the meatloaf in the oven to bake at 350 degrees for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Warm the cup of beef broth and tablespoon of butter so that the butter melts in the broth. Baste the meatloaf with the broth/butter liquid every 15-20 minutes until the meatloaf is done.
Serving Suggestions
This doesn’t have any tomato sauce on it but you can add that if you like.
