     Sour Cream Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups sugar
4 1/2 cups flour
1 cup butter or oleo
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
 
1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
Sift all dry ingredients together. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients alternate with sour cream mixing until smooth after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
