     Home Style Round Steak

Ingredients
2 Tablespoons all-pupose flour
2 Tablespoons salad oil
1 cube beef bouillon (crumbled)
2 Tablespoons snipped parsley
1 Teaspoon sugar
1/2 Teaspoon dried crushed thyme leaves
3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 Teaspoon Kitchen Bouquet (optional) tastes fine without it
salt & pepper to taste
 

Instructions
Cut steak in serving sized (bite) pieces; coat all sides with the 2 tablespoons of flour. In an oven going skillet brown the meat in hot oil. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1 cup water, bouillon cube, parsley, sugar and thyme.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees until tender. (Apprx 1 1/2 - 2 hours).
Remove beef to serving platter, measure pan juices; add enough water to equal 1 1/2 cups. Combine the 3 tablespoons flour and 1 1/2 cups cold water. Stir into pan juices. Cook, stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.
Server grave over meat.
