Mix first 4 ingredients together with mixer, then add eggs, milk&
yeast. Mix to combine well, but don't beat it to death. Cover
bowl with saran wrap and refrigerate overnight. Remove 1/5th
of dough at a time, keeping remaining dough covered in
refrigerator. On a well-floured surface, with a well-floured
rolling pin, roll dough out into thin circle (12-16 inch). (If dough
is too sticky to roll, turn it over a couple of times in the flour and
work in) Keep surface and rolling pin well-floured.
After circle is made, brush on melted margarine liberally,
sprinkle with about 2 heaping teaspoons of sugar and about 1/2
cup chopped walnuts- more if needed. Cut circle into 16 wedges
(like a pizza). Roll up starting at wide end. Place on greased
cookie sheet and curve slightly to create a crescent shape. Let
rise 15 minutes. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 15
minutes. Remove immediately to cooling racks. Frost with 10X
icing while still warm.
Note- Before starting with next portion of dough, push aside any
debris (walnut pieces, sugar, margarine) from work surface and re-
flour area. This keeps dough from tearing, sticking, etc. Continue
as above, keeping remaining dough refrigerated until ready to roll
out.
10X Icing. Mix powdered sugar and a little milk together until
spreading consistency.
