Grease and flour 9x13 inch pan. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350 In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, powder and salt. In another large bowl, usin electric mixer, beat on medium high speed butter and sugar till combined. Add eggs, one at a time, then vanilla. Slowly add the milk and dry ingredients alernating between the two, till all ingredients are well blended. pour batter into your greased and floured pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, till top on cake is nice and brown. Cool for about 10 minutes, then using a large fork, poke holes all alng the topof cake. Pour the heated pineapple mixture on top of cake, then frost.

Cream Cheese frosting
In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until combined. Add powered sugar, one cup at a time and vanilla. Mix till all powered sugar is blended well. Uing a spatula, stir in nuts, Frost cake over pinapple mixture.
