     Seven-Minute Frosting

Ingredients
2 egg whites
Dash of salt
5 tablespoons of cold water
1 1/2 cus sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon light corn syrup or 1/4 teaspoon of cream of tartar
1 teaspoon vanilla
 

Instructions
Place all ingredients except vanilla in the top of a double boiler. Mix thoroughly. Cook o er rapidly boiling water, beati constantly until mixture holds up in peaks. About 7 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and beat until mixture shows consistency. Spread over cakes.
