     Hot Dill Pickles

Ingredients
3 quarts water
1/2 teaspoon of alum
1 quart cider vinegar
1 cup pickling salt
Pickles
14 to 18 little stalks of dill
14 to 18 peppers (Japan)
14 to 18 cloves garlic
14 to 18 bay leaves
 

Instructions
Stuff in jars pickles, 2 little stalks dill, 2 peppers(Japan), 2 cloves garlic and 2 bay leaves. Bring to boil water, alum, vinegar and pickling salt, then pour over jars of pickles and seal. Makes 7 to 9 jars of pickles.
