     Vicki's Steak Kabob

Category   Breakfast - Brunch
Sub Category   None
Servings   6-12
Preptime   2 hours

Ingredients
1-2 Pound Sirlon Steak
3 Tomatoes or Cherry Tomatoes
2 Green Peppers
2 Onions
1 Package of Slimmy Fungus (Mushrooms for those that dont know me)
2 sticks of Butter
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
2 Packages of Pita Bread
Salt (to taste)

Pepper (to taste)

Instructions
Cut steak into bit sizes cube and place in a bowl. Melt 1 stick of butter in a sauce pan and stir in garlic powder. Pour over steak. Mix together to coat and place in fridge to chill.
Cut tomatoes into wedges (if using whole tomatoes). Onions and peppers into chunks. Rinse and drain mushrooms, cut them into quarters.
Get the grill going. If using wooden skewers soak in cold water for 10 minutes (this will prevent splintering). Start with steak and alternate between meat and vegetables leaving enough room to be able to turn the skewer. Place on hot grill turning until meat is desired doneness and vegetables are warm.
Melt the other stick of butter and a little more garlic power with salt and pepper in a pan. To serve brush the inside of the pita bread with melted butter mixture and add in a skewer of meat and vegetable kabob.
Serving Suggestions
if you have a lot of skewers to grill, I will place in a cake pan and place on a warm part of grill or in a oven on warm with foil over top.
