     Cranberry Brickle

Ingredients
1/4 C softened butter
1 C sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 C plus 2 Tbsp. milk
2 C flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 C fresh cranberries, or other berry
topping
 
1/2 C brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 C softened butter

Instructions
In a large bowl or mixer, cream together the butter and sugar. Add the egg and stir in milk. Slowly add flour, baking powder and salt. Mixture will be fairly stiff. Fold in cranberries. Pour into greased square pan. Sprinkle topping evenly. Bake at 350 for 30-40 mins.
