12 oz beer

1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

2 lb shrimp

vegetable oil

1 cup flour
|

1 tsp garlic powder
|
|
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
|

1 egg
|

1/2 tsp baking powder (for a lighter crust)

Instructions |

|
Combine 1 cup flour, paprika, salt, garlic powder
and ground black pepper.

Cover and let stand at room temperature for at least
1 hr.

Heat oil to 375 degrees.
Dredge shrimp in flour, then dip in batter.
|
|
|
Fry shrimp, a few at a time until golden brown.
Drain in paper towels.
