     Italian Chicken Soup

Ingredients
5 cups water
46 oz. chicken stock (I use jar stock)
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped carrots
1/2 to 1 cup chopped onions
1/2 to 1 tsp. dried basil
1 cup dried pastina
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt and pepper to taste
 
chopped fresh parsley
2 cups cooked chicken, cut up

Instructions
Put water, chicken stock, celery, carrots, onions and basil in a large pot. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and cook 10 minutes. Add pastina, return to a boil for 6 to 8 minutes. Add cheese, salt, pepper and parsley. Stir in cooked chicken. This is really best if made ahead of time
