     South African Rusks for dipping into Tea or Coffee

Ingredients
250 mg sugar or even less
1 egg
250 ml buttermilk or milk with one Tablespoon of lemon juice or white vinegar
250 grams butter melted
250 grams of flour
250 grams wholewheat flour
6 teaspoons of baking powder
2 teaspoons of baking soda
2 1/2 cups or a bit more of muesli
 
12 grams baking powder again
5 ml salt

Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 C (350 F)Add sugar to melted butter. Mix in mixer Add eggs and buttermilk to butter and mix Add all dry ingredients and mix well.
Place in casserole dish-rectangular- layered with a sheet of Baking paper/ Bake for 45 mins. Watch out for a delicious aroma
Cut into squares or rectangles and separate. Place back in oven, separated to dry out on a low heat for at least one hour or more
