In a large pot heat olive oil over medium high heat.
Add carrots and onion and cook stirring occasionally
until soft and brown (about 8min). Transfer
vegetables to separate bowl.
Cook beef in pot seasoning it with salt and pepper.
Drain grease. Add back the vegetable mixture,
broth, and tomatoes. Add seasoning to taste.
Stir in pasta and bring to a boil, stirring
occasionally. Lower the heat to medium-low, cover
and simmer until the pasta is tender (about 10-
12min).
