     Salmon Pate - Jean Aucutt

Ingredients
smoked salmon bits (as sold in the UK) - 1/2 pound
cottage cheese - 4 oz
onion - 1
garlic - 1 clove
pepper freshly ground
cream - 2 tablespoons
butter - 1 tablespoon
lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
tabasco sauce
 

Instructions
Saute onion and garlic in butter until translucent - place in blender with smoked salmon and cottage cheese. Combine (blend) - add lemon juice and pepper to taste. Finally add cream. Blen until smooth. Pot - seal with melted butter. You can make a large batch and freeze it until use.
