SOAK-
½ loaf stale French bread 1 quart milk
When soaked, crumble and set aside.
Next, beat-
3 eggs
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Then add- 1 cup raisins and the bread. Mix well.
In a 9X13 inch cake pan, melt 1 stick butter. Pour mix over butter in pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
Serve warm with Lemon Sauce.
LEMON SAUCE
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 beaten egg
¼ c. lemon juice
Mix together in a saucepan and cook until thick.
Pour Lemon Sauce on top of bread pudding
