Boil broccoli in salted water for 4 to 7 minutes, or until crisp
tender.
Season broccoli with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Melt 1 stick butter and Velveeta cheese (careful not to burn).
Add cheese mixture to broccoli.
Crumble crackers and mix throughout, saving some for the top.
Dot casserole with remaining butter.
Bake 20, 25 minutes at 350 F.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
