Sweet and Spicy Salsa (Longaberger product available in wish list)
1 1/2 c water
1 t salt
8 oz elbow macaroni, pene or shells, uncooked
4 oz shredded cheddar
Instructions
Cook turkey and onion in oil. Stir in seasoning. Add beans, salsa, macaroni, water and salt. Stir well. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes. Stir to prevent sticking. Mix in cheese, serve when melted.
I doubled the macaroni, used 1 jar of Sweet and Spicy Salsa, added a sprinkle of chili powder, and omitted the cheese.
