     Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips
 
1 cup nuts (optional)
Instructions
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla in large mixing bowl.
Add eggs one at a time. Gradually add flour mixture.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 375 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes.
