     Pecan Pie

Ingredients
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons margarine, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
1 unbaked 9 inch pastry shell
 
Chocolate Pecan Pie Decrease sugar to 1/3 cup
and add 4 oz melted semisweet chocolate. or add
semi sweet chocolate chips to bottom of crust
pour above recipe over these and cook.

Instructions
Stir together first 5 ingredients until blended. Add nuts. pour into pastry shell. Bake in 350 oven 50 to 60 min or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool. May have to cover sides of pie with foil or metal pie ring to keep crust from burning.
Whipped cream topping- 1 carton whipping cream beat until medium peaks form then add 1 tablespoon sugar and a cap full of vanilla. Beat until still peaks from.
