Take one tall glass and place 8 mint leaves in the
bottom of the glass. Crush them with the back of a
spoon. Add 2 Tbsp. simple sugar syrup, which is
just equal parts of sugar and water brought to a
boil and stirred until the sugar has completely
dissolved. You can make this sugar syrup ahead to
use in drinks you make and keep it bottled in the
refrigerator to use as needed. It will keep for
about six months. Fill the glass with crushed ice.
Pour either lemonade, limeade, orange drink, or a
lemon-lime soft drink into the glass. With a long
teaspoon, stir the mixture gently, and enjoy your
drink.
