     Beefy Cheddar Pie

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 T. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 1/4 c. plus 1 T. milk, divided
3 oz. soft cream cheese
1 egg, beaten
10 oz. pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked
 
1/2 c. shredded cheese
2 double pie crusts, 9 inches in diameter

Instructions
Brown beef and onion. Drain. Stir in flour, salt, garlic salt, 1 1/4 c. milk, and cream cheese. Cook, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly.
Add a little cream cheese mixture to the egg; blend and pour into skillet. Cook until thickened.
Stir in broccoli, spoon into crusts, sprinkle with cheese, and cover with top crust. Cut slits in top crust and baste with 1 T. milk.
Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, cover edges with foil, and bake for an additional 25 minutes.
Serving Suggestions
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
