     Soft Frosted Ginger Cream Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup dark molasses
2 tbsp vinegar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp ginger(ground)
5 cups flour
 
Frosting- 2 tbsp margarine
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
Blend shortening,sugar, molasses and vinegar. Add eggs, blend in.
Mix flour,soda,ginger,b.powder together. Add to first ingredients(shortening/sugar mix).Mix.
Roll onto floured surface and cut into shapes. Oven at 375 for about 8 - 10 minutes.
Mix frosting and spread on cooled baked cookies.
