1.) Preheat oven to 225 degrees fahrenheit.Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
2.)whisk 3 tsp icing sugar and 3 tbsp maple syrup.Sift remaining 3 tsp of icing sugar on to the pans evenly.
3.) cut apples into very thin slices.Put them onto the sheets and brush maple syrup onto apple slices.
4.) Bake slices for 2 hours . Or until the slices are a pale goldenand starting to crisp. Brush remaining maple syrup on it and then sprinkle the chopped pecans onto it.
5.) Bake for an additional 20 minutes. immediatley peel apple bites off and place on a cooling rack
