Using large saucepan, lid on, cook sausages on medium heat about
1 minute on each side. When browned, transfer sausages to cutting
board. Slice into coined shaped pieces. Chop the onion and garlic
up. Add the onion into the pan you cooked the sausages in.(There
should be enough oil in the pan from the sausages to saute the
onion.) When onion become translucent, add in garlic for 1 minute.

When onion and garlic are done cooking, add in diced tomatoes
(undrained), tomato paste, tomato sauce, water, wine, Italian
seasonings, 1/2 cooked sausages, salt & pepper and sugar. Stir
together, and place on low-medium simmer. Allow to cook for 30-
45 mins.
