3 thick sliced bacon strips cooked and coarsley chopped
1 T butter melted
1 green onion chopped
coarse ground pepper
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package. Meanwhile, saute garlic in butter in a dutch oven. Stir in flour and pepper sauce until blended, gradually adding milk. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thick.
Stir in cheese until melted, add green onions. Drain pasta and stir into cheese mixture.
Transfer into greased 9 by 13 baking dish. Combine bread crumbs, bacon and melted butter and sprinkle over top.
Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with onion and pepper if desired.
