     Slow Cooked French Dip Sliders

Category   Entrees - Maindishes
Sub Category   None
Servings   a lot
Preptime   low prep 6-8 hr cook

Ingredients
approx 3 lb beef sirloin tip roast (Publix sale 3.99/lb) (usually use smaller roast)
1 or 2 packages dry au jus mix (see note on step 2)
1 cup water (use more)
8 oz provolone cheese slices
1 package hamburger buns
(was suggested to use hawaiin sweet rolls, but we think too sweet with this dish)

Instructions
1. Trim all fat from beef (if desired). (Note that these roasts are tied with 1-3 strings wrapped around. Ok to cook with, but remove before you shred or trim)
2. Stir together water and au jus mix in crock pot. Add roast and spoon liquid over the top of roast. (I prefer to add enough water to cover roast otherwise it dries out. So, I usually double the au jus mix and add as much water as needed to cover)
3. Cover and cook 6-8 hours on LOW heat. 4. Remove roast and shred or slice. (I shred, then put it back in crock pot and continue to cook for about 15-30 minutes, but you can just serve after shred)
5. Add beef to buns. Top with provolone cheese. Use au jus juice in crock pot to dip in. ENJOY!
