place in 2 qrt jar and fill with water to rinse till water is clear. add new water till 1-2 in from top and let soak for about 12 hrs

pour the water out, rinse well. try to leave as little water as possible when draining. set someplace dark 68-80 degrees and sprout the grains for 24-72 hrs or till tail grows. rinse the grains a couple times daily while sprouting, draining well.

|
fill jar almost to top with fresh water leave a couple in for air. cover with coffee filter and rubber band. ferment in cabinet 24-72 hrs at room temp. you'll know its ready when it smells fermented and has a tart lemonade flavor.

|
pour brew through a strainer into bowl remove grains.
