Place pecans in slow cooker.
Combine remaining ingredients, pour over nuts and stir to coat them.
Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours.
Spread on a single layer of waxed paper to cool (they will become crisp).
NOTE- You can buy Five Spice Powder or make your own- one part each of cinnamon, ground cloves, ground fennel seeds, ground star anise, and ground Szechuan peppercorns.
