Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Add ground beef and onion in skillet. Brown &
drain. Add salt & pepper to taste.
Spread beefy onion mixture on bottom of casserole
dish. Arrange tater tots evenly over ground beef.
In a small bowl, mix the cream of mushroom with
1/2 cup milk and pour over tater tots & beef. Top
with as much cheese as you'd like. Bake uncovered
for 30-40 minutes until cheese is bubbly and
slightly brown. Serve.
