Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain, rinse and set aside. Crush cereal to measure 1/2 cup. Combine with margarine or butter. Set aside for topping.
In medium-size saucepan, stir together soup, milk and cheese. Cook until cheese in melted, stir occasionally. Remove from heat. Stir in cooked macaroni. Spread evenly in greased 1&1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle evenly with the topping.
Bake for about 30 mins or until hot.
VARIATION- 1 can (10 3/4 oz ) condensed cream of mushroom soup may be used instead of the cheddar cheese soup.
