Preheat oven to 180 degrees on bake. Cream butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy. Sift cornflour and flour together. Mix sifted ingredients into creamed mixture. Kneed well.
Divide dough into two equal portions and form into logs 6 cm across and 2 cm in depth. Cover and refridgerate for 1 hour.
Cut into 1 cm thick slices. Place on greased oven trays. Prick with a fork. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until a pale golden colour.
