     Brazil Papo de Anjo--Angel's Double Chin

Ingredients
7 Egg yolk
2 Egg whites
1 T flour
1 T butter
Syrup---
4 c Sugar
3 c Water
1 Orange peel
2 T Rum
 

Instructions
Whip egg yolks until lemony colored. Add flour and continue whipping 1 minute. Whip whites until they form soft peaks. Fold whites into yolks. Butter 12 muffin tins and pour batter to half full in tins. Place tins into a pan with water and bake at 350 degrees until firm.
Make a light syrup. Let it cool to warm. Poke holes in each little cake and drop them into the syrup. Let stand at least 6 hours before serving. Keep them in the syrup in a glass bowl.
