Line a cookie sheet with foil. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Heat all ingredients in a heavy skillet over low heat until butter melts and sugar disolves. Increase heat to medium. Add nuts and toss until coated. Spread in single layer on cookie sheet. Bake 1 hour stirring every 15 mins. Transfer nuts to large sheet of foil. Separate the nuts with a fork. Cool completely.
