     Sausage Cheese Balls

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   None
Servings   5 dozen
Preptime   30 min

Ingredients
1 pound bulk sausage- you could use mild or hot
4 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese (1 lb.)
3 cups baking mix- I use Bisquick
vegetable oil (if needed)
Special dipping sauce- recipe follows

Instructions
Combine ingredients and shape into walnut sized balls. Depending on the fat content of the sausage, you may have to add a little vegetable oil (about a tablespoon) to get the sausage and cheese to blend.
Bake on cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 10 to15 minutes. May be frozen before or after baking. Serve hot.
Special sauce: In bowl, combine 1c real mayo and 3 tablespoons good honey mustard. Mix well until good and combined. Serve chilled.
Serving Suggestions
A great appetizer, these are perfect for parties. We also like them for Breakfast.
