     Chicken Florentine Pesto Pasta with Asparagus

Ingredients
1 lb bowtie pasta
1 lb chicken breasts
2 tblsp olive oil
1/2 white onion, chopped
minced garlic
1/2 c white wine
1/2 -1 lb asparagus
salt and pepper
1/4 c cream
 
1/4 c pesto

Instructions
Cook pasta. Chicken- sprinkle with salt. Saute in olive oil until browned. Cut into strips. Chop asparagus into 2in pieces and saute in oil. Set aside
Add chopped onion to pan and saute 2-3 min. Add garlic and cook 1 min. Add white wine and boil vigorously until liquid is reduced by half
Combine asparagus, chicken, pesto, cream together. Add to pasta
