     Quick Apple Dumpling

Ingredients
2 med granny smith apples (WIC food)
1 (8ct) crescent roll dough
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup orange juice (WIC food)
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
 

Instructions
Grease 8x8 baking dish and set aside. Peel and core apple and cut in 1/4. Wrap each apple in crescent roll and place in pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Combine butter, sugar and orange juice and bring to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and pour over apples. Add pecans and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
