Measure cereal flakes. Crush to 1 1/2 cups. Stir together cereal, flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Place margarine, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in large mixing bowl. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Stir in dry ingredients until thoroughly combined. Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Using back of fork, press dough flat in 2 directions to make a crisscross on top of eat cookie.
Bake in oven at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks. Makes about 6 dozen cookies, 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
